For the first time on the podcast the three founding partners of Radio Survivor are together in one place. Jennifer Waits, Matthew Lasar and Paul Riismandel recount the origin story of Radio Survivor, challenge the myth that radio has to die, and discuss the good work that is yet to be done to evangelize and support great community-oriented radio.
Co-producer Eric Klein shares his dive into the world of horror movie podcasts, wringing out some lessons about podcasts in general along the way. And he and Paul wrap up their ongoing conversation about the tension between podcasting for the love of it and keeping it sustainable, and how some podcasters seem entitled to success just for showing up.
The Radio Survivor podcast would be sustainable if every listener contributed just $1 a month. That’s all it takes! Please lend us a hand by supporting our efforts with a monthly contribution to our Patreon fundraising campaign.
